The trailer

Two minutes. All real.

Every shot is the actual app, recorded straight from Newsdesk. It starts by itself, muted, once you scroll to it. Turn the sound on.

New since the trailer

The trailer’s already out of date.

Newsdesk didn’t stop when the trailer did. Since then it learned to call his next move, read his temper (and the internet’s), run the newsroom TV and take a call from Ohio.

The build log

183 updates in the ten days after the trailer. Zero days off.

Déjà vuA whole new tab

He’s done this before. Here’s every time.

Déjà vu reads every one of his 127,902 statements on the record since 2009, lines them up with elections, court dates, the markets and the news, and finds what he does again and again. Every pattern gets a score, with his own words each time as the receipts.

Then it bets on the next one. A prediction goes on the record with a date, and Newsdesk grades itself when the day comes.

  • 7 of 12elections, then the “rigged” talk. Three more, partly.
  • Nov 3Election Day, with a prediction filed in advance
  • Nov 18the day it checks its own work

Rage meterNow with two needles

Two needles. One very bad day.

Every day the rage meter scores his posts on ALL CAPS, exclamation marks, insults and what time he’s up posting, against his own last 60 days. The new needle reads the room: how much busier X got in the six hours after his three hottest posts.

Thursday, October 22, broke it.

Mission ControlFor the studio TV

The whole newsroom. On one screen.

Put it on a spare screen or the studio TV and it runs itself: his posts the minute they land, the Radar sweeping for stories, what’s trending, the rage meter, today’s brief and the countdown to the midterms.

Press C and everything private (the money, the comments, the team’s notes, the health checks) disappears, so it can sit right behind you in the shot.

Dale’s voicePress play

Dale from Ohio is on line one.

Every video needs a skeptic. Dale calls in four times with the questions your viewers are already thinking, written right into the script.

Now he has a voice. Newsdesk voices his lines in seconds, the teleprompter plays each one on cue, and they land in Final Cut on a track of their own.

Dale’s voice is AI, made with fish.audio.

“Look, I’m just a guy from Ohio. But you’re gonna have to show me on that one.”

X, everywhere

Now it reads X, too.

His account and a list of the people around him, from JD Vance to AOC, every two hours. Plus anyone he names, anyone who answers him, and whatever’s blowing up. Every post it buys is kept for good, so it never pays for the same one twice.

  • Their responseHe names someone. Newsdesk checks whether they fire back, and Radar speaks up when the answer takes off.
  • The X pulseTrends asks X what’s blowing up right now, with the posts driving it.
  • On X, on every storyA story’s Context tab shows who on X posted about it, the people you follow first.
  • Pile-on and Echo chamberRadar spots four people pushing the same line within hours, or his allies repeating him almost word for word.
  • Said it before, back to 2006What anyone said before about a story, from what’s saved or straight from X’s archive.
  • Whose posts? The topic river switches between him, his allies, the Democrats and everyone.
  • The WatchlistWatch a person and every post of theirs counts, plus anyone who answers him.
  • Their historyDéjà vu checks whether he follows someone’s lead: their spike on a topic, then his, days later.
  • One budget, never twiceOne daily X budget for all of it, and the bank is checked before X ever is.

And everything else since the trailer.

How it works

From headline to upload.

Pick a story. Newsdesk does the rest. Here's one story's whole day, from the morning brief to the upload.

  1. 01

    Picked

    The news sorts itself.

Every morning it reads over 60 outlets, left to right, groups the same story together and ranks it by heat. It even shows which stories the big channels haven't touched yet. You pick one.

  2. 02

    Clips

The exact moment, out of hours of video.

It hunts down the moment he said it, checks the frame really shows it, and trims it to the second in 1080p. Want every time he did it? That's a compilation, in one go.

  3. 03

    Script

    Written in your voice.

A script with a cue for every clip and a source for every claim. Then a fact-check marks each line green, amber or red, with receipts, and drops the fixes into the rewrite.

  4. 04

    Recorded

    Rehearsed, then rolling.

Dale from Ohio asks the skeptical questions before you hit record, now in his own voice. Then the teleprompter follows your voice down the script and knows every clip cue.

  5. 05

    Edited

    Final Cut, already laid out.

A Final Cut Pro timeline lands with the clips in place. Vertical Shorts come out captioned, and thumbnails come out drafted in TPK colors.

  6. 06

    Published

    Copy, paste, done.

Title, description, chapters and tags, written for you. The board tracks every story from picked to published, so nothing falls through the cracks.
